Buying new windows?

Are there any websites online that sell new construction or replacement windows for the home? Thanks.

3. My officemate just built a new home and got almost everything like that from e-Bay sales.


4. Look for Andersen and also Marvin brand windows


5. go with andy's suggestion, you'll get better windows.


6. Your local power company may have recommendations for best R values.

   They will not recommend brands , but you can then look for the best you can afford w/ highest R value & warranty.

   Some window co's only rate the glass which may be OK but they can still have sloppy operation & weather stripping.

   Look at "high end "windows at a builders supply & then try to find the same at a home center If the model #s match up you might be getting a good deal.

   Large retail outlets are notorious for selling "name" brands that have been "customized" to their specs which means they aint as good as buying from a mfr's distributor.
