i have a broken double pane window need to get it fixed cheap?

my window got broken by a boot going through it. it is a double pane house window. i live in hayward california and i have a very limited amount of cash to fix it. anyone know of a cheap glass replacement or window replacement. i got about 100.00 at the most. thanx

1. Double glazed windows have an inert gas sealed between them that provides the insultation. You would need to special order a replacement window from a local glass company. My guess is $100 will not cover it, but the company should give you a free estimate.


2. keep the boot, or plan to shell out +/- $ 250.00


3. check your house insurance (if you have any) - you usually have an affordable excess which might only be $100. That's how it is here in Australia anyway.
