  1. It is an adhesive used to retain the protective shipping film.

Go to Lowes, Home Depot or a True Value Hardware and ask for a pint of acetone. It's the base component of fingernail polish remover.

Then CAREFULLY and in a well ventilated environment, moisten a papertowel with the acetone and clean the windows. It may take two or three times but it will remove the film. Don't smoke either as it is very flammable.

Acetone can also damage wood stain and cloths so be careful but keep it around to lift grease out of carpets and unstick items adhered by "Crazy Glue" among other uses.

  2. dont know what it is but try useing vinegar + water mixture

  3. I'm not sure what it is without looking at it. I have an idea that it might be tape or some sort of adhesive residue. Try heating the area with a hair drier -- then wipe with a paper towel or newspaper. Newspaper is great for cleaning windows. Hope this works!

  4. Flat razor blades..just scrape them.

  5. Use "OOPS" available at wal-mart. But I find the best thing is called "carbo-sol " by Sunnyside Corp., available at most local hardware stores. It is a cleaning and degreasing solvent non-flammable, also a fabric dry cleaner & spot remover. It is fabulous I can't live without it.

  6. Use "Goo-Gone". It will remove all adhesives.

  7. lighter fluid

    its from the sticker

  8. Just use alcohol on a cotton ball, it will come right off.
