  1. www.collectselltrade.com

  2. I used Home Depot and have been very satisfied. I asked to see homes with windows installed.

  3. that is going to be a substantail investmnet.i realize cost is a factor but quality of window, warranty, and installment are as important.

i would ask 3-4 companies that you have heard of and ask them for a list of people they have done work for after

    considering their estimate.

  4. Start at Lowe's

  5. i dont believe there are any. do it yourself, its really one of the easiest jobs to do at home. I never had done it mtself b4 either and have replaced ,,,,,,12 large windows in my own house now. ( 42 by 60) i found wood double or triple paned were better insulators than aluminum. just tear out the old window any replacement window same size will fit right in, spray or put insulation around edges, make sure its level. buy some cheap wood wedges to make it level, all you do then is screw the window in, they silicone or seal around the outside. it you removed the old trim just put it back or cut some new trim around the inside. its pretty easy and I can do 2 windows from removing the old to finishing the new myself all alone in about 4 -6 hours. And it saves you lots of money! My cost for 12 windows I mentioned were about $225 each. for anderson wood 2 pane tilt windows a nice window on top of it. Better than the cheaper windows they try to sell you when they come bid on your work! They sell you cheap windows say they are tossing in a couple for free(LOL right free) sic:: Nothings free!. They bid my job for $7000-$9000. Cost me to do it myself (with better windows I put in than the ones they quoted): $2500 good luck
