Replacement windows from the company Royal Windows based in Arkansas....?
I had a salesman come out to give me a quote from some replacement windows. When he gave me the quote, it was outrageous and I said so and so he called his home office and said he would drop the price. He dropped it right there and then in half. That is a red flag for me. Has anyone else had this happen? I really do like the windows, but I don't want to be taken for a ride either.

- I had a similar experience with a company that advertized its windows on TV. They called me and set up an appointment and then came to my house where they looked at all of the windows and gave me a exorbantant price. They also put on a lot of pressure to buy right then and there. They also stayed until I almost had to kick them out. The company was not Royal but the company that came to my door had gone out of business. I went on the internet and found several bad items on them with complaints.
Nobody that is reputable would come to your house and give you a price then drop it in half. Find a reputable contractor or have Lowe's or Home Depot give you a price. Get several prices. Never give a contractor full price when you sign. Pay for the windows when they show up and pay for the installation when it is done. If the contractor can not do this he is too small and probably not in good credit anyway.
Good luck!
- I would almost bet this salesman is actually selling you a product other than Royal Windows. Does he also sell siding? I would definately pin him down on the product he`s selling. Royal Windows is based in Arlington,Texas. His company may possibly be a distributor, but I found a site on the web called Royal Windows and Siding that wanted my address to get their location.(sales ploy) Do a little reseach before you shuck out the buck!!!
