99 yukon Passenger Window Motor Issue?
My passenger window on 99 Yukon will only go down 1/3 of the way. Where could I find a diagram or instructions on how to remove the door panel to get to motor? Also, what is a good source for the tool required and replacement parts such as door clips? Thanks!

Most reputable auto parts stores have some basic tools for removing inner door panels.
- With that age of a vehicle I might check , call around to the do it yourself auto wreckers and take one out yourself , plus you can either ask them or call around to a dealership to find out what yr and models have the same passenger door motors.
That way you can maybe pull one out of a newer vehicle etc.
Be sure to over haul the motor and any plug connectors , the switch and especially the ground to the motor bec sometimes it's just a bad connection and usually it's a ground rusted or corroded etc.
Any good auto parts supplier will sell them but check with places like Walmart too bec some places charge high prices for the tools and clips.I payed almost 20.00 for my solid tool that removes the door panel clips alone.
Hope that helps and best of luck. By the way it's wise to buy those new clips and the special tools bec you save the door panels from damages and really a lot of headaches in long run.
- To remove the door panel you need to look for any screws you see or bolts and remove them first. Then useing a plastic clip removal tool found at any auto parts store and there petty cheaply priced carefully pry on the bottom of the panel and work your way up and around till it is loose then remove the inside door handel then lift the panel up and off the door. Puting it back on well thats just the same way just in reverse of what you just did take your time doing this.
- For door clips U get it out of a GM dealership , or from a damaged door from a wercking yard,,,,,,or U can go to ,,,mitchell.com
