Does anyone know where i can buy a replacement rear window for a 1989 jeep wrangler hardtop????

i am missing my rear window in my jeep, and i am also missing the components that help it function properly.....aka, the shocks and the lower piece with the silver turn handle......does anyone have advice on where i could find these parts available for purchase?????......thanks a lot

1. Your best bet would be to look up a local auto salvage yard. Most likely you can go there and pull it yourself and save a lot of money.


2. goto the junkyard heyll have it try a few also and maybe ebay will have some parts for you also!

4. I would definitely prefer salvage to e-bay because you know the parts fit and the window is intact before you pay for them. E-bay is good for lots of things, but buying a car window sounds risky. If it broke in the mail or if the parts didn't fit you'd have to try to replace them or get money back, etc. Buy the stuff locally at a junkyard. Good luck.


5. I would try the local junkyards for the glass but try places like quadratec.com or 4wd hardware for the mechanical components.
