Broke Recovery Disc and replacement unavailable from mfg! If I purchase a new Windows Home XP sp2 OS?

and install (clean install), if the PC crashes, does this new one re-install? My computer is 6 years old with upgraded graphic, DVD and I still have 72% available space. She runs great for what I do. I don't mind spending the 100 compared to purchasing another pc. I just want to know I can use a new OD to recovery if it should crash. Thank you.

What is make and model for your PC? I have a whole library of factory recovery disks. You CAN make your own from your current OS, but unless you have geek blood, don't try. A final option would be to use a disk from a bud.... Buying XP SP2 disk will set ya back about $100...
