Window grills for old windows -?
We recently moved into a house with old casement replacement windows. The windows have no window grills (what looks like it used to hold window panes in place). I don't know the brand of the window (anderson, pella, off brand etc) and was wondering if anyone knew of a place to purchase some that we could even just glue in - it looks so bad from the curb without them. Thanks!

- Grilles are unique to each manufacturer. One maker's parts will not fit another's window. This is because window sizes, frame types, and retaining systems are not standardized. The manufacturer's name is on there, somewhere. Check the panes, sash frames, and hardware for markings. Even something that you cannot figure out, may mean something to the salesman at the lumber yard. If all else fails, try pulling a screen or the operating handle and showing it at the yard. Someone should know what it is.
