Which replacement window style looks best for my house?

I am having the windows in my home replaced. The options I have are all-vinyl (white, beige or brown) or aluminum on the outside, with a choice of paint-grade or stain-grade wood inside. The windows I am replacing are all wood-frame. I'd pretty much settled on the white vinly (easy to coordinate and less expensive) except that much of my interior decor, including the trim around the windows on the main level is stained OAK. I'm wondering if that would look cheesy - the white vinyl window next to the stained oak interior trim. Thoughts? Has anyone tried this or seen this at all? Thanks in advance!

  1. white v looks best and it will not rust

  2. The windows will be placed in from the outside-your indoor trim won't affect the replacement window. But, if I may interject? Use plain glass not the ones with grids, they are a b***h to clean, had them. You could always go for the beige, easier on the eyes and fits in well with oak trim.
