Complete System Restore On Windows XP with no cd?

I want to do a complete system restore to my XP, but I don't have the cd. Is there any way I can do it without the cd or order a replacement cd for free?

1. No way without the CD. And you can't get a replacement one for free unless the computer is still under warranty. Windows XP costs at least like 90 dollars for home edition. Good luck.


2. Robert T. and his false information. If it is a Desktop computer there should be a seperate partition with a back up install of your OS. You can use that to do a full reinstall without a CD.


3. System Restore you don't need a CD, but System Recovery you need a CD. System Restore you want to restore the computer to a certain date, but for System recovery you want to recover the system back to when you first got the computer.
