\windows\system32\config\system Error....?

Ok I understand how to fix it... But I don't have my CD-ROM... How do I get a replacement Windows XP Professional edition Disc? Do I contact Microsoft or whats the best Route to fix this problem?

1. you can use anyones Win XP Pro CD. If you are doing a repair install and it asks for a product ID just enter "your" product ID (usually on a sticker on the computer case)


2. You can download it from a pirate website (yes, that's illegal.) Since CD's don't have insurance, you are pretty out of luck if you are talking about getting a replacement for free. Buy another disc if it has to come to it.
