Who makes a better quality replacement window: Pella or Andersen?

1. Definitely Pella and there is another company from Canada who also has highly rated windows. Anderson's quality is not what it used to be.


2. I agree with his post but you will pay more for Pella.


3. You get what you pay for and Pella is totally worth what you pay! We bought Pella double-hung security windows for our house and they are fabulous!!! :) Couldn't be happier with the quality!


4. Most contractors are fairly loyal to one brand or the other. My husband is a custom home builder, and he feels that the interior trim on Pellas is not what it should be--he's an Andersen man.

   Overall, they are probably very similar, and it may depend on what your local suppliers typically have. In my town, they sell Andersen, but just 30 miles away, it's a Pella town!
