conversion kit or replacement vinyl windows?

Our sills look good- is here any reason not to use conversion kit rather than replacement vinyl windows?

1. The problem with inserts or "conversion kits" is that they cut down on the amount of glass you have. I would simply replace the whole window with new construction windows. You can get good new const. windows for 300 to 400 dollars.
