Contact Microsoft for a product replacement?

Every time I run my Windows Vista Anytime Upgrade disk to attempt to install Business Edition, I get a failure in copying Windows files. How do i contact Microsoft to replace the disk?

  1. In my opinion, putting in Windows Vista was your first mistake (I tried it for 2 days, had nothing but problems, and uninstalled it as fast as I could). Have heard it has a lot of problems that Microsoft is trying to figure out and fix.

Maybe this site will help you out, though (the author walks you through the steps in this article "Discover Windows Anytime Upgrade--—the new way to upgrade Windows Vista")

  2. Where did you get this Windows Vista Anytime Upgrade disk ?

Are you trying to upgrade an OEM edition of WinXP or a full retail version?

Some disks are only made for one computer.

If you got a Dell computer with Win XP and a Vista upgrade, the disk will only work on Dells.
