Can I replace only the moving part of a sash window?

Would a joiner be able to make a direct replacement for the two sliding frames in my Sash window with a double glazed panel instead of the single glazing currently installed. The window frame is fine and I would have thought this may save me some money?

1. You can make every part but the weight. I did this on all windows in my old house.( 100 yrs+) It takes time but with a joiner and table saw, router etc. all cn be done and it does save money. Try this site
