In choosing replacement windows, what is the relative strength and weakness of vinyl versus fiber glass?

Would any one be able to tell me the relative merits or demerits of the two types of make of replacement windows? Namely, vinyl frame or fiber glass frame? What about wood? Is wood out of favor now?

1. Treated wood is usually the most pricey, but ultimately the most desirable from a design standpoint.

   Fiberglass will be stronger than vinyl.
