where can i find a cheap instal it yourself replacement rear window for a 96 dodge grand caravan?
I was backing up late tonight and someone left something sticking out of a dumpster in our alley way, it was at just the level i couldn't see it and next thing i know my rear window is in a million pieces...i don't have a lot of money to get it fixed and i was quoted online between 270-350 dollars to have it pro. replaced. Is there any other way...i don't want to drive it around like that and i need a quick fix w/o the expense. Pius i have to go out of town for a wedding tomorrow so i don't have time to get it to a shop...? any suggestions? thank you! oh and it wont be worth it to claim it on y insurance because my deductable is 500 dollars and this is going to cost around 300

- Some sheet plastic and duct tape... $10 since you are in a hurry.
Your COMP coverage on your insurance should replace the glass for ya.
- Junkyard and have a pro install it. Still cheaper sometimes if you dont have full coverage.
- Check Craigslist .com in your aread under auto parts. Maybe do a search for caravan part or caravan parting or even caravan window or glass.
- Open up your local yellow pages and look for the nearest Pick 'n' Pull Auto Dismantlers.
