$150 charge for terrace door window replacement without being notified by AGent about charge?

AGain. AGent charging $150 for terrace window replacement (cracked pane). No break ins occurred. Several rainstorms this year. Window cracked earlier this year, but i had no time to stay home to have the repair done. Had the Agent forewarned me about a $150, i would have not had the window replaced. There are no kids in the unit. When i submit my rebuttal for the charge, should i attach the weather reports showing rainstorms? What proof can the AGent provide that the cracked window was supposedly caused by the Tenant? Should i have reported the repair as soon as the rainstorm ended? Travel quite a bit. Found debris blown onto terrace after a rainstorm. Debris caused cracked terrace window.

  1. It rains here all the time, and I've never heard of RAIN causing a window to crack. It sounds to me like damages that you are liable for...its not like a tree fell on the roof and put a hole in the roof...a broken window most likely is damages by something you did (not a rain storm, that is just laughable).
