Can i still exchange my laptop at bestbuy?

I just bought a sony vaio VGN-CS215J and the operating system windows vista crashed like 2 days later ive made recovery disc but the recovery keeps failing at 15%, well anyways my laptop crashed so will best buy take it back or let me exchange for a new one? -I bought the 1 year replacement along with the laptop-
