Replacing glass panes?
I have a bathroom window that was recently damaged and I need to replace the glass. Firstly, where does one go to acquire a replacement peice of glass and secondly, what would I need to fit it?

- depending on the framing of the window, single or double pane, bathroom usually or frosted glass. May have to consult with a glass glazing company
- Go to the yellow pages and type in Glass repair. Call one in your area and ask how much for a piece of glass (give them the dimentions you need exactly. Don't make it exactly 100 %, but a fraction smaller so it will fit. Remove old caulk or glazing and glass (there may be small nails or glazing points hidden in it that held the glass in while they sealed it up). Seal up the new glass. Use the right caulk rated for exterier windows. Ask the store if you don't know. Tape off the glass where you don't want a smear but leave some glass for the caulk to adhear to as well as the pane, run the bead, get your finger wet, run it down the caulk to make a pretty bevel. Remove tape. Done.
