vinyl Replacement Windows for Home?

I live in CT and am looking for replacing old windows. Any recommendations of dealers /manufacturers based on quality & pricing will be helpful. Did got some information on Simonton through Home depot and Kengsington from one of the dealers. There is lot of price difference simonton 15K and kengsington 31K. This is for 16 Double Hung Windows , 2 Picture Casement combinations and one huge 7' X 13' window HD Simonton 6500 series. The cost above includes labor and material.

1. Whatever you choose, make sure the frames ore wooden. Plastic frames give a lot of pollution out and don't break down after removal.

   Properly treated and looked after, wooden frames last easily as long.



2. have had great experence with simonton...but 15k sounds dam high for the cost....i assume its material and labor? windows should run u about an avg. of $ 260.00 each....install should be about $ 200.00 each with trim and all.......hell i'll come do the job for $ 12,000.00 and i live in NC! lol
