How much should I expect to pay for replacement energy efficient windows, installed?

1. I replaced my windows two years ago. I had 12 single hung windows 3'x4' and three large picture windows. I did all double glazed and the cost, including demolition of the old windows and installation of the new was $12,000.

3. Common cost is $400.00 per hole, meaning each window. Cost of windows is determined by Unified Inches, meaning if you have a 36 x 60 window, that is 96 unified inches. Usual cost for the window - aluminum frame, double-insulated, low E - is $1.95 per unified inch, so your 30 x 60 window would cost $187.20 plus tax, installation of $213.00, and disposal of old windows and clean-up.
