How can I get a replacement Product Key for my XP Pro installation disc?

I need to install windows XP Pro onto a new hard drive only I have mislaid the Product Key - is it possible to obtain a new key (without having to purchase a new disc).

  2. If you are able to use the old disk drive with the old installation of windows xp on it then it is the simple task of using the following free software to recover your product key.

    But if that is not possible to do that then a call to microsoft customer services will help you as long (as you have a real copy of windows).
